Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Design and develop automotive connectors based on customer and market requirements.
    Provide technical support for standard connector products and
    Collaborate with global product design teams and execute development activities in accordance with defined
    Perform design validation activities, including tolerance analysis, D-FMEA, DRBFM, and feasibility reviews with
    Work closely with sales teams to capture the Voice of the Customer and reflect customer needs into product development.
  • Requirements
    Strong 2D/3D CAD design skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
    Engineering knowledge of FMEA, DRBFM, and geometric tolerancing.
    Ability to deliver clear, logical technical presentations. Ability to deliver clear, logical technical presentations.
    Knowledge of connector materials, including plastics, metals, and plating.
    Technical school diploma or Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred). diploma or Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
    Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
  • Preferred
    3+ years of product design experience specifically for automotive connectors.
    Experience with FEA analysis and terminal design.
    Deep knowledge of
    Business experience working directly with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
    Strong understanding of Manufacturing processes related to connectors.
