With its unique technology that uses water as a propellant that is safe and has a low environmental impact, it has won high praise from satellite manufacturers in Japan and overseas, and has succeeded in multiple space demonstrations. Commercial projects and mass production projects are already underway, and although it is an R startup, it is a company that continues to grow further along with the expansion of the space industry while building a stable business foundation.

This is an important position that ensures the manufacturing quality of satellite engines (propulsion) and supports the reliability of products. We are involved in a wide range of areas that affect the quality of spacecraft, from upstream to downstream, such as quality control and evaluation selection of suppliers, guidance on improvement of manufacturing processes, and formulation of acceptance inspection standards. You can demonstrate your discretion and responsibility as a quality expert, such as working with an external partner with advanced manufacturing technology to establish a quality assurance system for parts and review documents from a technical and legal perspective.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - Confirm the quality of parts manufactured by subcontractors and operate
    quality control processes - Analyze the causes of defects that occur at suppliers and provide guidance
    on improvement - Evaluate and select
    suppliers' manufacturing technical capabilities, quality control systems, and processes - Provide technical guidance to suppliers and support
    the launch of manufacturing processes for the introduction of new construction methods - Plan, formulate, and improve inspection methods and standards
    - Analysis of incoming inspection results, preparation of reports, and feedback
    to relevant departments - Review and management
    of supplier-related documents such as quality assurance agreements and specifications from a technical and legal perspective - Identification of quality issues and promotion
    of improvement activities in propulsion manufacturing - Establishment and maintenance of a quality assurance system based on quality standards required for space equipment
  • Requirements
    - Experience
    involved in multiple manufacturing technologies such as machining, welding, sheet metal, substrate processing, and soldering - Practical experience
    in collaborating and negotiating with suppliers - Basic reading comprehension skills to read technical documents in English (translation tools available)

    - Practical experience in supplier audits or evaluations
