As an application engineer in the embedded systems field, you will be responsible for technical support for customers, implementation assistance, and problem-solving proposals. This position serves as a technical point of contact with customers, supporting everything from product introduction to operation, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to solve customer challenges and contribute to business expansion.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Provide technical consulting and proposal support for customers
    Understand customer challenges and propose appropriate technical solutions
    Conduct pre-sales activities including product presentations, demonstrations, and technical support
    Support post-sales activities including HW/SW implementation support and troubleshooting
    Collaborate with sales teams and domestic/global stakeholders to support business development and future product planning
    Provide customer-focused engineering support from both technical and commercial perspectives:

    Listen to customers' technical challenges and needs, propose
    optimal solutions, and provide
    technical explanations, demonstrations, and implementation support for customers. Technical support and troubleshooting after product introduction:
    Feedback customer requirements to internal development and product teams, contributing to
    product improvements and new feature planning, collaborating with the sales team to support
    customers in technical support and project promotion, technical coordination and collaboration
    with domestic and international engineers and related departments, and preparation of technical documents and reports for customers.
    Ongoing support activities aimed at improving customer satisfaction
  • Requirements
    Experience or knowledge in embedded systems, middleware, or hardware development/support
    Technical communication skills in Japanese for customer-facing activities
    Strong motivation to proactively handle both technical and business-related tasks
    Experience with debugging or supporting embedded systems
    Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

    Knowledge or practical experience
    in embedded systems (software/middleware/hardware) Experience in software
    development, debugging, or technical support Technical communication skills
    with customers: problem-solving oriented and able
    to proactively promote business operations; communication skills to respond to customers in Japanese
  • Preferred
    Knowledge or experience in the automotive industry
    Experience with Linux, QNX, or other POSIX-based programming/debugging environments
    Knowledge or experience with automotive network devices
    Interest or motivation to use English in a business environment
