As a Regional Marketing Manager, you will drive the growth of the company’s power semiconductor business in Japan by developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives across automotive and industrial segments. You will lead efforts to identify market opportunities, influence design‑in activities, and expand demand for products such as silicon diodes, SiC diodes, and power modules. In this customer‑facing role, you will collaborate closely with customers, distributors, and internal sales and engineering teams to manage pricing strategies, deliver technical solutions, and strengthen long‑term partnerships. You will also support business expansion through training, promotional activities, and seminars, while leveraging your technical expertise and bilingual communication skills to coordinate effectively with global teams and align regional initiatives with overall business objectives.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    • Develop marketing strategies related to products, pricing, market segments, and customers. Identify market potential and opportunities, and provide sales support to the promotional and sales departments for design-in.
    • Personally take the initiative to drive the continuous growth of the business targeting the Japanese market through the products in charge.
    • Negotiate prices with customers and agents, and plan and execute sales promotion programs.
    • Build relationships with sales, FAE, and sales agents by providing product and technical training and necessary support for problem-solving.
    • Providing solutions for technical inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service from customers.
    • Promote strategic promotional activities such as seminar presentations and the creation of marketing tools.

    - Develop and execute marketing strategies covering products, pricing, target markets, and key customers.
    - Identify market opportunities in Japan and drive demand creation through design-win activities.
    - Lead growth initiatives to expand the power semiconductor business in automotive and industrial segments.
    - Manage customer and distributor relationships, including pricing negotiations and collaboration programs.
    - Provide technical support to customers, including handling inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service.
    - Deliver training, marketing tools, and promotional activities such as seminars to support sales and partners.
  • Requirements
    • Hold degrees
    in electronic engineering or electrical engineering • Have more than 5 years of practical experience in one of the following fields, such as design and development, FAE engineering, or product marketing in the power semiconductor, power equipment, or automotive electronics industries. (Especially experience designing and supporting power supply applications related to power semiconductors, or work experience at power semiconductor competitors is a plus.)
    • Extensive knowledge and experience in Excel (sales data analysis, etc.) and PowerPoint (training seminars, etc.).
    • Japanese at a native level, English at a business level or higher.

    - Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering required.
    - Minimum 5 years of experience in power semiconductors, power supply, or automotive electronics industries.
    - Experience in power supply design or working with power semiconductor products is preferred.
    - Fluent Japanese language skills with business English.
