In the automotive parts industry, it is one of the largest companies in Japan in the thermal systems, mobility systems, power train systems, electrification systems, and electronic systems businesses.
We are currently focusing on four areas [electrification, connected systems, advanced safety/automated driving, and non-vehicle businesses (FA/agriculture)].

For over 10 years, we have been responsible for the pioneering development of autonomous driving systems.
In 2014, we conducted a demonstration experiment of autonomous driving on the Chita Road in Aichi Prefecture, and since then, we have been promoting demonstration experiments on general roads in Aichi Prefecture, Tokyo, and Hokkaido, working on advanced development.

Amidst this, the emergence of generative AI has brought a game-changing transformation to the autonomous driving field, both in terms of players and development speed, with tech companies in the US and China evolving rapidly.
To keep pace with the development speed of leading tech companies in the US and China, in 2023 we launched a data-driven and generative AI autonomous driving pilot development project with the cooperation of various external partner companies.

Against this backdrop, we are seeking individuals with knowledge and experience in computer science and data science to accelerate development.

Job Description

Responsibilities

As we work toward making cars smarter, you will develop data-driven infrastructure and take on the challenge of maximizing the performance of autonomous driving systems.

(Specifically, you will be involved in one of the following areas)

・Dataset development (auto-annotation, etc.)

・Development of cutting-edge AI models (E2E, VLM)

・Optimization and implementation techniques for high-performance SoCs
Requirements

・Over 3

years of software development experience in AI/ML ・At least 3 years of development
experience using one of the following languages/development projects - Languages used: C/C++/Python
- Development PF: ROS/ROS2/RTOS
Preferred

・Experience developing autonomous driving systems using AI/ML

・Research experience in computer science and machine learning (e.g., presentations at top conferences)

・Development experience with MLOps for handling large-scale data

・English proficiency (・English proficiency sufficient to discuss topics related to computer science and machine learning with native speakers and to read technical documents; guideline: TOEIC score of 780 or higher)
