As a Sr. Global FE Capital Spares/Services Manager, you will lead the development and execution of global procurement strategies for front-end semiconductor manufacturing spare parts and services, driving cost optimization, supply continuity, and operational excellence across Micron's manufacturing network. You will partner closely with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, finance, and supplier organizations to establish category strategies, optimize supplier performance, negotiate commercial agreements, and strengthen strategic supplier relationships that support business objectives and technology roadmaps. In this role, you will champion digital transformation initiatives by leveraging advanced analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and data-driven insights to identify savings opportunities, improve sourcing effectiveness, and enhance decision-making processes. You will be responsible for managing complex global sourcing programs, mitigating supply and performance risks, monitoring category compliance, and driving continuous improvement across procurement processes and supplier governance. Through strong business acumen, strategic leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, you will influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, deliver sustainable value, and enable Micron's continued growth and manufacturing success in a dynamic global semiconductor environment.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - Develop and execute global sourcing and category strategies for front-end semiconductor equipment spare parts and services to support manufacturing operations and business objectives.
    - Lead supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and service performance.
    - Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, serving as the primary commercial point of contact and driving supplier performance improvements.
    - Identify and deliver cost savings, sourcing efficiencies, and supply base optimization opportunities through market analysis and category management.
    - Leverage advanced analytics, data visualization, AI, and business intelligence tools to support data-driven procurement decisions and digital transformation initiatives.
    - Partner with engineering, manufacturing, finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with operational and technology roadmap requirements.
    - Monitor supplier, commercial, and operational risks, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and corporate policies.
    - Lead supplier business reviews, governance processes, and global procurement projects while communicating sourcing results, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Requirements
    - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
    - 7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, materials management, or spare parts and services procurement, including at least 3 years managing external suppliers.
    - Proven experience developing and executing category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier management strategies.
    - Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage suppliers and senior leadership effectively.
    - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously and operate independently in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Preferred
    - Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, equipment engineering, or a related technical environment is a plus.
