Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    【Job descriptions】
    This position is responsible for all activities related to the development of charging related infrastructure such as Charging hubs, DC/AC Chargers within and outside of the dealer network etc., working closely with the remaining members of the Network Development Team. In addition to the aforementioned tasks, this position is also responsible for driving the goTOzero initiative for both brands in Japan.


    【Main Responsibility】
    1) Charging Infrastructure Development (Inside Dealer Network) :
    -Plan and execute the Charging Network Strategy in collaboration with existing dealer network, group brands (Porsche and VW) and 3rd party charging infrastructure providers in close cooperation with remaining Dealer Network Development team
    -Lead the discussion of billing scheme across the network, group brands and 3rd party facilities
    -Supervise and execute all the contractual operations in relation to the charging network expansion across the brands and entities

    2) Charging Infrastructure Development (Outside Dealer Network) :
    -Support planning and execution for implementation of Charging hubs in Japan in close alignment with local stakeholders and AG
    -Establish relationships with all the internal and external stakeholders (Property owners, Battery Suppliers, Constructors, e-tron X team, Group Technical Team etc.) who will provide all the necessary resources to realize Charging hubs
    -Develop app for billing Non-PCA members as part of the “Premium Customer Charging” for utilizing DC High speed charging network (e.g. Charging HUBs)
    -Lead the installation of Destination Chargers in collaboration with existing dealer network and 3rd parties such as hotel associations, golf club associations etc.
    -Ensure that the projects are carried out through 3rd party handling office
    -Supervise and execute all the contractual operations in relation to the destination chargers

    3) goTOzero
    -Drive implementation of goTOzero initiative in Japan for both brands VW and Audi in accordance with global strategy (dealer involvement, training, certification etc.)
    -Take part in regular meetings with AG and other markets and act as counterpart towards AG for all goTOzero related topics
    -Collect data from dealer network in regard to carbon footprint and communicate results to AG

    4) Support on following tasks
    -Network Development Project
    -Handle real estate leasing contract for the properties which are subleased by Audi Japan or VW Japan to some of the business partners (Dealers) and negotiate with landlords in case it is necessary.
    -Admin tasks such as RFA, RFP processing and other adhoc tasks


    【Main KPIs】
    1) Execute mid-term network strategy plan for VW & Audi
    2) Make NC/UC display area CI/CD compliant for both brands
    3) Implement new showroom concepts, e.g. #Progressive retail /Audi City Lights for Audi Brand
    4) Expand charging network inside and outside the dealer network
    5) Implementation of Battery Competence Centers
    6) Support implementation and management of new dealer agreements for VW and Audi
  • Requirements
    1) Education: University degree
    2) Work experience in any industry (Electric industry is a plus)
    3) Language proficiency
    -Japanese: native
    -English
    4) Professional Skill & Knowledge:
    -Project Management
    -Knowledge of charging infrastructure and/or e-commerce structure development
    -Communication skill including presentation and negotiation

The role also analyzes BMRS data, recommends dealer business improvement measures, prepares regular reporting and risk management updates, and works closely with Sales, After Sales, dealers, investors, and internal management functions to ensure strategic alignment, operational compliance, customer experience quality, digital readiness, and long-term network sustainability.
