In this role you will oversee a variety of complex systems for exciting new aircraft, managing teams of talented engineers to navigate development, testing, and integration. You will add your professional knowledge in developing avionic systems, flight controls, power systems and more while integrating new development tools, coordinating with program managers and executive leadership to assess budgets and timelines, and insuring compliance and safety regulations.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    You will:
    -Oversee the development, testing, and integration of aircraft systems ranging from avionics to flight controls and powertrain systems.

    -You will work to comply with regulations and certification of the necessary legal bodies including in conducting safety assessments.

  • Requirements
    -Strong English or Japanese ability.
    -10 years or more working across aerospace and power development systems.
    -5 years or more in a senior role mentoring, managing, and leading teams.
    -Broad understanding of avionics, flight control systems, and electric propulsion specifically.
    -Strong experience with safety analysis and certification processes.
  • Preferred
    -Experience working with electric aircraft such as eVTOL or UAM.
    -Experience in an Agile development environment.
    -Experience with environmental and thermal testing.
