Digital HR: Workday Functional Consultant

You will be responsible for proactively promoting system improvements based on business requirements, best practices, and recommended functions, and accelerating the sophistication and utilization of Workday, thereby dramatically improving the efficiency of business processes and the ease of use for end users and stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Accurately understand business requirements and translate them into Workday's technical requirements.
    While coordinating with stakeholders, he leads system design sessions and derives optimal solutions.
    The work of building and testing necessary configuration changes and updates in the Workday function in the area of responsibility.
    Clearly document designs, solutions, and changes in line with the team's documentation standards.
    The task is to share the details of system changes with relevant parties in an easy-to-understand manner, and to provide manuals and guides that users can intuitively understand and operate.
    In order to increase the utilization of Workday, we continuously propose and implement system improvements and promote more effective operation.
  • Requirements
    Knowledge
    of various business processes in the human resources field (e.g., Hire to Retire process, talent acquisition/talent management processes, data structures, best practices, experience in implementing solutions, etc.)
    Knowledge and experience
    in implementing HCM systems/platforms Experience leading design sessions, configuration, testing, and problem solving in any of the following areas: Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent Performance, Learning, Reporting, PRISM, and Security.
    Experience
    in application operations and maintenance: Experience in continuous application management, HRIS operations support, and post-production support after production.
    Business level English proficiency (no hindrance to communication in meetings and writing) Able
    to handle both oral and written communication.
  • Preferred
    Junior Consultant: 3~5 years, Senior Consultant/Manager Class: 7~10 years, but a wide range of experience levels are welcome.
    Knowledge and experience
    with Workday HCM implementation and post-production support Experience with at least
    two cycles of HCM end-to-end deployment Valid certification
    in one of the following Workday product areas Core HCM/Talent Performance/Recruiting/Learning/Core or Advanced Compensation/Reporting/PRISM/Security Administration (one or more of the following)
    Business-level Japanese language proficiency (N2 or higher)
     Able to write documents and communicate verbally in meetings without any problems
