Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - Understanding and reviewing market and customer requirements (including meetings with customers)
    - Mechanical design using 2D and 3D CAD, strength analysis (FEA), harness design, piping design
    - Refrigeration cycle design
    - Progressing
    development processes in collaboration with other internal departments - Planning and evaluating
    product evaluation methods - Planning
    shipping testing methods - Launching
    mass production - Communication and interface work with
    Japanese customers and internal company through communication and collaboration with German headquarters, Asia Hub China, and overseas and domestic suppliers - Quality management such as market defects and change management for assigned projects
  • Requirements
    - Experience
    in design work for component parts at an automotive parts manufacturer (Tier 1) - Experience
    in mechanical design with 2D and 3D CAD - Experience
    launching mass production - Experience in performing tasks in English (email, document preparation, meeting participation, etc.)
  • Preferred
    - Experience
    in applications using refrigeration cycles and design of refrigeration cycle parts - Experience in automotive parts development (heating, cooling, or thermal management related is preferred)
    - Documentation preparation as development progresses, D-FMEA, etc
    . - Knowledge of electricity, control, and harness design
    experience - Experience
    analyzing and countering quality issues and defects - Professional-level Chinese, French and German language proficiency
