This is a space-related startup starting from university-based technology. We develop and manufacture propulsion machines for small satellites, leveraging proprietary technology that balances high safety with environmental considerations. Evaluated by domestic and international satellite manufacturers, it has achieved multiple space demonstrations to date. Currently, commercial projects and mass production projects are underway, and despite being a research and development company, it continues to achieve stable business growth.

In this position, you will serve as a lead engineer supporting the satellite interorbital transportation business, leading requirements analysis, specification formulation, and system design for the entire satellite system. This position leads system development toward realizing future space transportation services, handling a wide range of tasks from interface adjustment and technical problem resolution to solving technical challenges for each subsystem, planning test and verification plans, and promoting evaluation.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ・System requirements analysis and
    formulation of system specifications for satellites and interorbital transport vehicles ・Design and technical coordination
    of the entire satellite system ・Management of system
    margins such as weight, power, and communication ・Interface adjustment
    between subsystems (electrical, mechanical, software, etc.) ・Analysis of technical challenges and formulation and promotion
    of solutions ・Planning
    system verification and test plans, leading testing and evaluation activities, and analyzing
    results ・Formulating
    operational concepts for satellites and spacecraft ・Technical coordination with internal and external engineers and vendors ・Project promotion
  • Requirements
    ・Over 5
    years of experience in system design, development, and social implementation for complex system products that integrate electrical, mechanical, and software systems, such as satellites, probes, drones, automobiles, and industrial robots. ・Experience in developing systems hands-on by having a perspective that provides an overview of the entire system, as well as specialized skills
    in circuit design, software implementation, structural analysis, thermal analysis, etc. ・Experience leading multiple technical teams or external vendors (Supervisor/Leader level)
    ・High communication skills
    to collaborate with engineers from various technical fields, organize and consolidate opinions, and promote team consensus ・Able to read and comprehend technical documents in English, and have no resistance to basic English communication
  • Preferred
    ・Practical experience in the space industry, or experience
    in the entire process from development to launch to initial operation of microsatellites, etc.; Knowledge and design
    experience related to thermal control systems (Thermal) or power supply systems (EPS) for spacecraft; Knowledge
    of space quality standards such as JAXA and ECSS, as well as reliability design including FMEA, FTA, and safety analysis ・Experience in technical coordination and negotiation
    with overseas vendors and launch service providers, business-level English proficiency
