Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    1) Process Design and Elemental Technology Development
    This position is responsible for connecting the manufacturing site with internal and external experts and related departments, and working toward carbon neutrality.
    Through testing, analysis, DX utilization, etc., this work involves finding a solution, developing and establishing the technology, and introducing it to the manufacturing site.
    There are many themes such as "development of energy-saving and renewable energy technologies," "raw material substitution," "process innovation," "quality and productivity improvement," "improvement of analysis and evaluation technologies," and "promotion of DX at manufacturing sites.

    (2) Process and production technology development for mechanical products
    You will promote process and production technology development for new products in the thermal field in cooperation with internal and external experts and related departments.
    Through discussions at the highest level of product development, you will clarify the cut-off points for competitive and easy-to-make products, and promote the development of processes, production methods, and elemental technologies.
    New products include a wide range of topics from module products for thermal management for BEVs, heat exchangers, and new fields such as valves and SOFCs.

    ③Production technology development of products for CASE vehicles
    Extraction of production technology required for new products and technology development. Arrangement and verification of necessary facilities and equipment.
    (Creation of objectives, targets, and plans, and agreement among related parties. Periodic progress follow-up and reporting to higher levels, etc.)

    ④ Development of production technology for power semiconductors
    Development of production technology related to power semiconductor SiC
    - Benchmark survey and analysis related to power semiconductors
    - Development, experiment, evaluation and process design of production technology related to SiC
    - Installation and production preparation of equipment related to SiC

    ⑤Process design of assembly/processing process Production Engineering
    Responsible for process design of assembly process of millimeter wave sensors and image sensors.
    <Main tasks:
    ・Process design of any of the 6 new products to be launched in FY2012
    ・Productivity improvement activities for existing products
    ・Productivity improvement activities for global (DMTN, TDE) lines, and equipment start-up, etc.

    6) Production technology in logistics for the entire logistics plant (rationalization of logistics in the plant and logistics DX)
    You will be in charge of process design to innovate logistics in the plant by considering muri, muda, and mura (waste).
    Process design for logistics rationalization (logistics rationalization concept planning, factory layout, equipment development, introduction start-up)
    ・Promotion of logistics DX (business improvement, improvement of working environment)

  • Requirements
    Experience in production engineering (approx. 3+ years)
    Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software is a plus

    For (4), experience with semiconductor related products is required.
