Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Manage and lead projects from RFQ to delivery, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and standards.
    Interface with customers and teams to understand project requirements and challenges, guiding the team in executing project plans and strategies.
    Lead the product development process (Design, Development, Validation & Launch) for Electrical and Mechanical components/sub-systems.
    Work with offshore teams and customer location teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery within timelines.
    Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
    Support technical design reviews and business proposals for new programs.
    Ensure the quality of deliverables is aligned with customer expectations and requirements.
    Define system architecture, derive software requirements and design, with a focus on functional safety and cyber security.
    Lead/coordinate circuit design, load calculation, power and grounding strategy, and other technical analyses.
  • Requirements
    10+ years of experience in the Automotive OEM/Tier-1 industry.
    Strong experience in leading E2E development projects, ensuring quality delivery within scope, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
    Proficient in System Design Specification, Vehicle-level test specification, and Validation Plan (DVP&R).
    Deep understanding of functional safety and software/communication architecture requirements.
    Knowledge of
    Expertise in design and manufacturing processes.
    Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA.
    Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is a plus.
    Japanese language skills (N2/N3 level) required for foreigners.
    English proficiency (TOEIC score of 730+ for Japanese speakers).
