Job Description

  • Responsibilities

    - Lead engineering input/output workflow, including 3D CAD data exchange and deliverable tracking
    - Oversee project milestones in collaboration with client-side managers and supervisors
    - Participate in both internal development discussions and supplier meetings
    - Update 3D models, cross-sections , and relevant documentation as needed
    - Track development progress and proactively report on risks and issues
    - Guide and assign tasks to engineering team members; balance workloads and priorities
    - Ensure development deliverables align with OEM processes, simultaneous engineering, and quality standards
  • Requirements
    Technical Expertise
    - Minimum 10 years of engineering experience (at least 5 years in exterior automotive parts)
    - Strong background in stamping parts design, body assembly, datum systems, closure mechanisms, sealing, and painting datum systems, closure mechanisms, sealing, and painting
    - Proficient in mechanical design via 3D CAD with an understanding of structural feasibility and manufacturing constraints and manufacturing constraints
