- Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional owner for infotainment systems (e.g., navigation, media, speech, localization) for the Japan market across multiple vehicle brands. brands.
Adapt and optimize global infotainment functions to align with Japanese customer expectations and usability standards.
Act as the primary contact for Japan market-related inquiries, coordinating between local teams and headquarters on specifications, test results, and issue resolution.
Support the testing and validation of infotainment functions, tracking issues and facilitating technical fixes with global engineering teams.
Manage all local language-related aspects, including text translation, text-to-speech (TTS), input methods, and localization bug fixes.
Review and deliver translation updates to the system to ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
Participate in defining and reviewing technical specifications related to infotainment and user experience.
Contribute to continuous product improvement through analytical problem-solving and customer-centric thinking.

- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Native-level Japanese and advanced English communication skills.
Experience in engineering, software development, or HMI-related roles.
Experience in infotainment or navigation
Strong technical understanding of automotive or software systems.
Skilled in reading, writing, and working with technical specifications for automotive requirements.
