Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Responsible for the development and perfect launch of new applications as a development engineering team
    - Direct contact to the customer engineering team
    - Working as part of an international cross-functional team
    - Define customer targets and perform turbo matching simulations to define the application in terms of performance, functionality, reliability and cost Perform turbo matching simulations to define the appropriate aero design and turbo model, replacing the customer's needs in terms of performance, functionality, reliability and cost
    ・Turbo package design respecting customer interfaces and constraints, working with CAD designers to create drawings of each component and turbo, prototype Execution of hardware construction, reliability risk assessment and development of action plans for countermeasures
    - Gap analysis between customer needs and product limitations
    - Development of design validation plan in compliance with project milestones and phase exit criteria, driving activities internally and externally
    - Program within the project team Work closely with managers, sales, purchasing, and plant to provide technical insights to minimize risks, maximize opportunities, and coordinate plans to resolve field and manufacturing issues
  • Requirements
    ■Required
    ・Business level English proficiency *Communication with overseas development departments will occur
    ・Bachelor's degree or similar in mechanical engineering, internal combustion engines, or transportation systems
    ・Willingness to take on next-generation technologies such as electric vehicles and fuel cells.

    ■Welcome
    - Mechanical engineer with knowledge and development experience in internal combustion engines (diesel and gasoline)
    - In-depth knowledge of mechanical design, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, turbomachinery, and engineering processes
    - 5-10 years of automotive industry and engine component development
    - Project management skills
    CATIA v5 experience
    - High teamwork skills and a proactive and open mindset, not altruistic
    - Mindset to look for opportunities for continuous improvement
    - Willingness to learn and acquire new skills and abilities
    - Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills
