This role leads the technical engagement with Japanese automotive OEMs for Vehicle Antenna Solutions (VAS). The position collaborates closely with sales, product management, and global development teams to support product strategy, gather technical requirements, and propose suitable antenna solutions. The role also serves as a technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring that customer needs and market insights from Japan are reflected in global product development.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Promote Vehicle Antenna Solutions (VAS) to Japanese automotive OEMs and potential customers
    Support implementation of the VAS business strategy in the Japanese automotive market
    Collaborate with global product management and engineering teams in Europe, Asia, and North America
    Build and maintain strong relationships with customer engineering organizations and key suppliers
    Act as the primary technical contact for customer inquiries
    Communicate customer technical requirements and market insights to internal development teams
    Support product positioning and technical discussions with customers
    Identify and support new sales opportunities for VAS solutions
    Facilitate technical communication between customers and internal engineering teams
    Monitor technical trends and proactively propose potential solutions to customers
  • Requirements
    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred) or higher
    5+ years of experience in Japanese automotive OEM account management or product development
    Strong knowledge or experience in RF technologies preferred
    Understanding of wireless communication technologies is advantageous
    Strong internal and external communication skills
    Business-level English and fluent Japanese (spoken and written)
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
    Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 15%)
  • Preferred
    Familiarity with electrical and mechanical datasheets, engineering drawings, and project specifications
    Experience in technology marketing or technical business development
    Technical knowledge of vehicle antenna systems and vehicle architecture
    Experience collaborating with overseas product development teams
