A global automotive technology supplier develops advanced mobility technologies supporting vehicle electrification, intelligent driving, and next-generation safety systems. The organization collaborates closely with major automotive manufacturers worldwide and operates engineering and development centers across multiple regions.
In Japan, the company maintains R&D facilities dedicated to advanced sensing technologies and intelligent driving systems, supporting global development programs in the field of ADAS and automated driving.
In this role you will join a Computer Vision engineering team responsible for advanced automated parking systems and next-generation ADAS technologies.
You will focus on leading system validation activities for complex autonomous driving systems, overseeing the full verification and validation (V&V) lifecycle. The successful candidate will drive validation strategies across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and vehicle testing environments.
This position requires both technical leadership and project management responsibility, ensuring project delivery aligned with QCT targets (Quality, Cost, and Time) while coordinating closely with global development teams.

- Responsibilities
- System Validation Leadership
・Define and execute the overall system validation strategy for complex ADAS systems.
・Lead the system validation sub-project and manage progress toward customer milestones.
Test Strategy & Execution
・Develop validation strategies across simulation, SIL, HIL, and vehicle-level testing environments.
・Plan and manage validation resources including personnel, tools, testing environments, and budgets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
・Lead cross-functional validation teams including system test leads and integration leads.
・Coordinate closely with development, integration, and quality teams to ensure validation readiness.
Continuous Improvement
・Continuously review and improve validation processes, methodologies, and testing strategies.
・Implement improvements to increase validation efficiency and product quality.

- Requirements
- ・Practical experience in System Verification and Validation (V&V) within the automotive industry.
・Strong understanding of system validation covering both system integration and end-to-end system testing.
・Technical knowledge of domain controllers, time synchronization, data transfer, and end-to-end validation.
・Knowledge of automotive communication protocols including LIN, CAN / CAN FD, Ethernet, SPI, Daisy-chain and point-to-point communication.
・Experience with team leadership, planning, and budget management.
・Experience applying risk-based testing methodologies and FMEA.
・Knowledge of development process models such as ASPICE.
・Native-level Japanese
・Business-level English

・Comfortable managing cross-functional engineering teams.
