Procurement Manager - Automotive Semiconductors

As the person responsible for the contract strategy area of semiconductor procurement, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing strategies for all global semiconductor contracts, ensuring security of supply, and building procurement governance. You will be responsible for understanding the latest industry, material, and Fab trends, formulating and executing ordering strategies that follow changes in the business environment, and contributing to improving and securing business profitability by selecting and proposing optimal manufacturers and components.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Develop global mid- to long-term procurement strategy and contract policy for semiconductor components and manage global execution
    ・In collaboration with related divisions, minimize procurement risk and optimize price and delivery time
    ・Restructure organizational infrastructure and strengthen procurement capabilities through standardization of operations and governance design in the procurement area in collaboration with global offices ・Build relationships of trust with suppliers and strengthen relationships between key supplier executives and PAS executives ・Collaborate with global regional contracting divisions and collaborate with regional HQs to

  • Requirements
    Experience in semiconductor sales or SE at a trading company, or experience in sales, sales engineering, or development at a semiconductor manufacturer
    ・Experience in organizational management or equivalent experience in training junior staff or subordinates
    ・English proficiency (communication skills to speak English with internal and external parties, TOEIC score of 600 or higher as a guide)
  • Preferred
    General knowledge of business practices in the automotive industry, general knowledge of the mechanics of automobiles, and general knowledge of the supply chain.
