You will be responsible for implementing various safety measures to create a safe and secure environment for the use of specified small motorized bicycles including electric kickboards, negotiating with various stakeholders (police, politicians, public sector such as government offices, industry organizations, etc.) in a complex and steady manner, and planning/implementing/promoting strategies to achieve this goal.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Research and communication and relationship building with policy authorities or stakeholders (police, other central ministries and agencies, industry associations, related consulting firms, etc.)
    ・Information gathering and policy recommendations through dialogue with government agencies, legislators, professional associations, etc. regarding laws, regulations, policies and the environment surrounding our business
    Research/study of domestic and international laws, systems, actual conditions, policy trends, etc.
    ・Development and implementation of measures to strengthen the presence of the Company/industry associations in the process of policy discussions
    *This work will require domestic business trips.
  • Requirements
    Experience in government relations with police, central ministries, etc. at a public policy-related department of a business firm
    - Experience in public affairs and government relations at a policy consulting firm or think tank
    - Experience working for the National Police Agency, prefectural police, or other government agencies

    ■Required Stance/Skills
    Proactivity to proactively gather and research relevant knowledge and information with an interest in public policy and businesses that solve social issues
    ・Boldness to communicate with multiple stakeholders simultaneously and smoothly
    ・Planning ability to set goals for issues and plan and execute actions necessary to achieve those goals
  • Preferred
    Experience in legislative/policy planning in a congressional office or political party
    ・Experience in running an industry association/foreign organization
