Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    -Work from a senior position to design, manufacture, and test power supplies for spacecraft.
    -Communicate with global vendors, internal and external stakeholders and an international team.
    -Coordinate and negotiate with subsystem engineering teams for requirements.
    -Do technical reviews, evaluations, and negotiations of components.
    -Run simulations and evaluate power balance and lifespan of potential power supplies.
    -Define requirements with a mind for the architecture and potential changes to power supplies.
  • Requirements
    -Business level Japanese or English with intermediate or higher Japanese or English.
    -3+ years of experience developing power supply systems for large vehicles or machinery.
    -Strong knowledge of batteries, power control and distribution systems.
    -Experience with simulation and analysis of battery power and lifespans.
    -Experience drafting circuit diagrams and designs.
  • Preferred
    -Experience in the space industry.
    -Experience working with international teams or overseas partners.
    -Experience as leader and mentor.
    -Experience with analysis technology such as MATLAB/Simulink
