This company is a global automotive technology supplier specializing in advanced sensing systems, electrification, and intelligent mobility solutions.
The company operates internationally with strong R&D capabilities and collaborates with major OEMs to develop next-generation safety and in-cabin technologies.
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end management of ADAS camera development projects for a major Japanese automotive OEM, serving as the primary interface between the customer and global engineering teams.
You will be responsible for project profitability, quality, schedule, resource planning, and stakeholder management while coordinating cross-functional teams across Japan, Germany, France , India, China, and other global development locations.
The project currently supports a Smart Front Camera platform already in mass production and deployed globally, with ongoing software updates, hardware improvements, cost optimization activities, and future product expansion opportunities.

- Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Governance
・Lead full project lifecycle activities from scope definition through production support and continuous improvement
・Manage project profitability, quality, delivery, and financial performance targets
・Define and manage project budgets, resources, milestones, and development schedules
・Drive risk management and escalation activities when required
Customer & Business Management
・Act as the primary interface for a major Japanese automotive OEM
・Build strong customer relationships and manage daily project communications
・Lead proposal activities and support future business acquisition opportunities
・Manage customer-driven requirement changes and commercial quotations
Global Team Leadership
・Lead multinational project teams across multiple global engineering locations
・Coordinate software, hardware, validation, manufacturing, and commercial stakeholders
・Conduct regular project reviews and status reporting to senior management
・Drive alignment across geographically distributed teams
Process & Financial Management
・Apply cost optimization and design-to-cost methodologies
・Support project governance reviews and approval activities
・Monitor project KPIs, profitability, resource utilization, and delivery performance
・Ensure compliance with corporate quality, safety, and ethical standards
Product Scope
・Smart Front Camera (Vision-Based ADAS Systems)
・Ongoing production support, software updates, hardware improvements, and cost optimization initiatives
・Potential future expansion into additional ADAS product lines

- Requirements
- ・5+ years of project management experience within the automotive industry (OEM or Tier 1 supplier)
・Technical understanding of automotive component or system development
・Business-level English & Japanese (approximately JLPT N2 or above)
・Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
・Ability to work effectively in a global environment across multiple time zones

・Experience managing complex software and hardware development programs
・Familiarity with cost optimization methodologies and automotive project governance frameworks
