You will combine hands-on hardware engineering with customer and cross-functional coordination, acting as a technical interface between customers, global engineering teams, and manufacturing sites. Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Drive hardware development activities throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development through production launch.
    Act as a technical interface between customer engineering teams, global development centers, and manufacturing sites.
    Lead technical discussions and specification alignment to translate customer requirements into robust hardware solutions.
    Support circuit design activities including schematic reviews, design optimization, technical analysis, and troubleshooting.
    Plan and execute hardware evaluation and validation activities, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
    Perform hands-on PCB modifications, soldering, circuit rework, and hardware debugging during development and issue resolution.
    Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including DRBFM, design review materials, technical reports, and development documentation.
    Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Quality, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams to support product integration and project execution.
    Identify technical risks and coordinate mitigation activities to achieve quality, cost, and timing objectives.
    Work closely with domestic and overseas teams to resolve technical issues, support project milestones, and share engineering best practices.
  • Requirements
    Experience in electronic circuit design and hardware development.
    General knowledge of electrical/electronic engineering and mechanical design.
    Hands-on experience with soldering, circuit modification, PCB rework, and hardware debugging.
    Ability to coordinate technical topics with customers and cross-functional engineering teams.
    Ability to read and write technical communications in English and collaborate with global teams.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
    Proactive and hands-on approach to engineering and issue resolution.
  • Preferred
    Experience working with Japanese automotive OEMs.
    Experience designing or developing automotive electronic products.
    Experience with automotive displays, instrument clusters, infotainment displays, or related electronic products.
    Knowledge of automotive development processes and methodologies such as DRBFM, FMEA, and design reviews.
    Experience working with global engineering and manufacturing organizations.
