In system development projects for the Ministry of Defense, you will be responsible for structural design of aircraft, vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicle mounting devices, large antennas, robots, and more. This position is consistently involved in everything from customer requirements analysis and specification formulation to overall design considering strength, thermal, vibration, and waterproofing, coordination with manufacturers, and technology development. Leveraging expertise in mechanical engineering and structural design, you will contribute to the development of advanced products that support national security.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ・Structural design and development
    of systems and devices for the Ministry of Defense; analysis of customer requirements, organization of structural requirements, specification
    formulation; development of new products
    for aircraft, vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, large antennas, robots, etc.; structural design and optimization
    considering strength, heat, vibration, and waterproofing; mechanical and structural design using 3D CAD;
    drawing creation and structural analysis; strength analysis, thermal analysis utilizing thermal analysis
    ; comprehensive technical support
    from prototyping to manufacturing startup; technical coordination and negotiation with customers, internal related departments, and manufacturing partners
  • Requirements
    ・Practical experience in structural design for newly developed products (Lead: over 3 years, Supervisor: over 5 years)
    ・Knowledge
    of materials mechanics, mechanical engineering, and structural mechanics ・Basic design skills and practical experience in mechanical and structural design
  • Preferred
    ・Experience
    in structural analysis or thermal analysis of newly developed products ・Design experience
    using 3D CAD and 2D CAD ・Experience in strength analysis and thermal analysis
    using CAE tools ・Development experience
    in aerospace, defense, automotive equipment, industrial machinery, robots, etc. ・Experience

You will also be widely involved in model-based development (MBD) using MATLAB/Simulink, HIL simulation, and actual vehicle evaluation, collaborating with global development teams to create future vehicle control technologies.
