It is a global automotive parts supplier with operations in 57 countries, focusing on key industry megatrends such as autonomous driving, electrification, and connectivity, shaping the future of mobility. Founded in 2000 as a joint venture with a major Japanese company, the company has its headquarters and engineering center in Yokohama City to provide development, technology, and products to Japanese customers.
This position is to lead discussions on a wide range of complex functional and product portfolios as a trusted partner to customers in the architecture domain.
We go beyond the framework of traditional architectural design and provide technical and practical architectural proposals from the perspective of the entire vehicle and the vehicle ecosystem.
By leveraging the latest solutions in collaboration with diverse stakeholders to prevent setbacks and costly design changes in the development phase, and by presenting optimal functional allocations and configurations from the quotation and proposal stages, we can influence customer decisions and contribute to business expansion.
In addition, it will play a leading role in anticipating market needs by evolving the design approach of "Scalable Functional Architecture" for both SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) and classic architectures from the traditional vehicle domain-centric thinking. The deliverables must be concrete and valuable outputs that can be used by customers in practice and lead to cost reduction.

- Responsibilities
- Advise and propose as a trusted technology partner in customer discussions on architecture
Get a bird's-eye view of your entire functional and product portfolio to help customers understand and leverage their complexity
In the quotation and proposal phase, we consider and propose optimal function allocation and system configuration, contributing to customer decision-making and maximizing order opportunities.
Conduct architectural design and review from the upstream stage to prevent architectural changes and cost increases in later stages of development
Promote and advance scalable functional architecture design methodologies for SDV and classic architectures from a vehicle ecosystem perspective
Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders (sales, development, projects, customers, etc.) to make technical and practical coordination
Anticipate market trends and customer needs, and consider and propose new architectural concepts and solutions.
Create concrete deliverables such as architectural materials, design guides, and concepts that can be used by customers
Continuously create technical value that reduces costs for customers and expands their business
