Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    As a technical development engineer for electric powertrain systems and motor control, you will be involved in the following tasks:
    ・Understanding customer needs and defining functional requirements for electric powertrain systems
    ・Designing motor control for electric powertrain systems
    ・Designing functional safety for electric powertrain systems
    ・Standardization design for electric powertrain systems

    Examples of inputs and outputs in this role
    INPUT: Customer requirements, usage scenarios, constraints of competitors’ products, and constraints of DENSO products
    OUTPUT: Product and control requirement specifications

    System and Product Development Project Leader

    *If initially assigned to Tokyo, you may be required to go on a long-term business trip to the Anjo Plant (Anjo City, Aichi Prefecture) for a certain period immediately after joining the company (for the purpose of building professional networks and sharing work methodologies).

    The specific duration will be determined through consultation, taking into account the nature of the work and your personal circumstances.(Typically ranging from a few weeks to a few months, with a maximum duration of 6 months.)

    ・Experience in

    designing and developing motor control for electric power train systems (mainly motors and inverters)

  • Preferred
    Applicants

    with one of the following experiences: Over 3 years of design
    experience related to motor control, knowledge of
    motor and inverter circuits/control, experience in vehicle and bench evaluation
    related to motors and inverters, knowledge of development processes (such as A-SPICE), functional safety, and fault diagnosis OBD
    , and knowledge of microcontroller and software development

    of control engineering, knowledge of
    FPGA, HILS, MBD, English proficiency (TOEIC600 or higher)
