This job is responsible for providing advanced technical support to the dealer network, helping resolve complex vehicle issues while ensuring high standards of product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. The role works closely with dealers, technical specialists, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot product concerns, conduct technical coaching, support field investigations, and contribute to the adoption of emerging automotive technologies.

In this position, you will be responsible for advanced technical support for the dealer network, helping to resolve complex vehicle troubles and improve product quality and customer satisfaction. In collaboration with stakeholders such as dealerships and technical departments, you will solve technical challenges, provide technical guidance to dealerships, conduct field technical investigations, and be involved in responding to the latest automotive technologies such as electrification and connected technologies.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional customer support and technical consulting for automotive products.
    - Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies related to product quality and safety.
    - Provide technical support to dealers through product issue reporting systems, including troubleshooting, coaching, and escalation of complex cases to subject matter experts.
    - Organize and conduct on-site coaching to improve dealers' technical capabilities and service quality.
    - Coordinate with relevant internal teams to resolve dealer workshop issues in a timely manner.
    - Continuously develop expertise in emerging automotive technologies, including electrification, autonomous driving, and connected vehicle systems.
    - Lead external service providers and manage product issue reporting and field technical investigation activities.
    - Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including dealer networks, regulatory authorities, and technical departments, to ensure accurate case resolution and effective information sharing.

    * Strictly comply with laws and internal regulations related to product quality and safety.
    * Utilize the product defect reporting system to provide technical support to dealers, including troubleshooting, technical guidance to dealers, and escalation of complex cases to specialized departments.
    * Provide on-site technical guidance and coaching aimed at improving dealers' technical capabilities and service quality.
    * Support for prompt resolution of issues that arise at dealership service factories in cooperation with relevant departments.
    * Continuously acquire and utilize knowledge of the latest automotive technologies such as electrification, autonomous driving, and connected cars.
    * Manage external service providers and promote tasks related to product defect reporting and field technical investigations.
    * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as dealer networks, relevant authorities, and technical departments to achieve accurate problem-solving and smooth information sharing.
  • Requirements
    - At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
    - In-depth knowledge of aftersales operations, including technical service, parts business, and dealer operations, as well as practical experience in product quality management.
    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess product issues and interpret technical data effectively.
    - Solid understanding of automotive technologies and knowledge of Japanese automotive safety regulations.
    - Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
    - Strong IT literacy and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
    - Native or business-level Japanese proficiency required

    * Over 5 years of practical experience
    in the automotive industry * Deep knowledge of after-sales operations including technical services, parts business, and dealership operations, as well as practical experience
    in product quality control * High analytical and problem-solving
    abilities capable of analyzing and evaluating product defects and technical data * Broad knowledge of automotive technology and understanding
