This position is responsible for developing key technologies for ECU platforms that form the core of next-generation autonomous driving systems. You will be involved in designing system and electronic architectures to utilize vast amounts of data obtained from high-performance sensors, as well as developing next-generation ECU platforms including functional safety and OTA support. You will promote the creation of a foundation that supports future mobility from both hardware and software perspectives to the practical application of autonomous driving technology.

- Responsibilities
- (1) Assigned Organization: Development Areas, Work Overview, and Role Within R&D, Positions
This department is responsible for the early development of next-generation autonomous driving and advanced safety technologies within R&D. You will be responsible for a wide range of development tasks related to AD/ADAS, from developing external recognition and vehicle control algorithms, to hardware design of AD ECUs and simulator environment construction.
(2) Specific responsibilities, roles expected both inside and outside your department, and positions
You are expected to demonstrate expertise in each development theme and lead development as a core engineer.
・System and electronic architecture
design for next-generation autonomous driving and advanced safety technologies ・Design of next-generation ECUs
that process large volumes of data output from high-resolution sensors (cameras, radar, LIDAR) and implement advanced cognition, decision-making, and control algorithms ・Systems that meet the high functional safety requirements of next-generation autonomous driving systems ・Control design and application software implementation design
・Development of ECU HW/SW platforms compatible with OTA software updates and system architecture design including
cloud ・Building SILS/HILS environments
for developing and evaluating next-generation ECUs (3) Workplace environment and work style (team composition, workplace atmosphere, characteristics)

- Regardless of industry, experience in essential technologies necessary for autonomous driving (either hardware or software is acceptable)
