We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects in the automotive domain, focusing on advanced connectivity and driver assistance technologies. This role involves managing all aspects of project execution-from planning and resource allocation to customer communication and milestone delivery-while ensuring profitability, quality, and compliance with the project. Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - Manage assigned projects both operationally and functionally, ensuring achievement of KPIs related to profitability, quality, and production readiness.
    - Define project scope, budget, and timelines; monitor progress and escalate issues as needed.
    - Secure and manage project resources effectively.
    - Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, validation, and suppliers.
    - Lead customer communication on project progress, technical discussions, and deliverables.
    - Prepare and validate reports for internal governance and decision-making committees.
    - Manage all project changes (internal and customer) and ensure alignment across teams.
    - Apply cost optimization methodologies and ensure compliance with development processes and standards.
    - Coach and develop project team members; lead performance evaluations.
    - Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and contribute to working groups.
  • Requirements
    - Japanese: Business level (able to organize and lead meetings), English: Business level.
    - Minimum 3 years of experience in project management for
    - Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.

    Senior PM Additional Requirements
    - Automotive industry experience.
    - Strong knowledge of telematics-related products.
  • Preferred
    - Experience managing automotive telematics product development projects.
    - Knowledge of finance and management principles.
    - Tier-1 automotive supplier experience is a plus.
