Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Design and development of flight environment prediction, aerodynamic performance prediction, aerodynamic design, and thermal protection system for atmospheric re-entry systems
    ・Study of slow descent devices (parachutes, parafoils, etc.)
    ・Basic research to solve these problems
    ・Flow channel design, combustion chamber design, and nozzle design for space propulsion systems
    Basic research to solve these issues
    ・Verification of aerodynamic design through wind tunnel tests, verification of thermal protection systems using plasma wind tunnels, etc., high altitude drop tests of atmospheric re-entry systems, and performance tests of propulsion systems, etc. You will also participate in evaluation and verification tests.

  • Requirements
    Experimental and analytical research and development experience in compressible fluid dynamics, including university research
    - Supersonic aerodynamic design experience in spacecraft, aircraft, or similar mechanical systems, including university research

  • Preferred
    -Experience in experimental aerodynamic research such as wind tunnel testing and flight testing.

    -Knowledge of thermal defense systems.
