Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Clarify and define hardware requirements with customers, creating project descriptions and effort analyses.
    Align hardware development goals with the project manager regarding quality, cost, and deadlines.
    Define, plan, coordinate, and monitor hardware development tasks within projects using established methods (e.g., PEP).
    Manage internal and external suppliers, ensuring economic, qualitative, and scheduling compliance; implement escalation measures when needed.
    Ensure adherence to technical standards and coordinate use of new hardware concepts, technologies, and materials.
    Create and maintain hardware specifications, including module and component requirements.
    Develop, adapt, and optimize hardware modules for integration into overall systems.
    Design and simulate electronic circuits, including preparation of schematics and material definitions.
    Support preparation of test specifications, initiate testing, and participate in product validation.
    Conduct reviews of hardware development throughout the lifecycle and ensure release compliance.
    Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to serial devices and manufacturing issues.
    Support IP-related reviews in collaboration with the patent department.
    Prepare documentation such as BOMs, schematics, simulations, and FMEA reports.
  • Requirements
    University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
    5-6+ years of professional experience in hardware development .
