Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Review quality processes for new Bought-Out Parts (BOP) in collaboration with Advanced Supplier Quality and Program Quality teams.
    Deploy supplier-related quality tools in line with the site's excellence and continuous improvement systems.
    Conduct process audits for existing BOPs involved in problem-solving activities and manage supplier corrective actions.
    Consolidate supplier quality KPIs and report results to the SQA Manager.
    Initiate, validate, and follow up on supplier corrective and preventive actions, including immediate containment measures.
    Manage supplier improvement plans in cooperation with plant buyers.
    Coordinate formal supplier self-certification notifications with purchasing teams.
    Approve PPAP submissions after validation by Program Quality and plant quality departments.
    Support ASQ program transitions and contribute to lesson-learned documentation.
  • Requirements
    Master's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Quality.
    Native-level or fluent Japanese and business-level to fluent English.
    3 5 years of proven experience as an SQA in the automotive industry.
    Strong knowledge of quality engineering tools and methodologies.
  • Preferred
    Experience with automotive development and quality processes such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and IATF 16949.
