In this role you will lead for a high‑volume manufacturing plant within a global manufacturing organization. The Plant HR Manager partners closely with site leadership to support and enhance HR systems, talent acquisition, employee engagement, labor compliance, and workforce development. This position requires not only HR operational expertise but also strategic thinking, collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to anticipate organizational needs to support business performance.

- Responsibilities
- Leadership of Plant HR Business Partner Function
・Act as the HR business partner to the Site General Manager and plant leadership, integrating people strategies with operational goals
・Identify HR issues within the plant and lead initiatives to improve HR processes and organizational effectiveness
・Anticipate and address HR impacts related to organizational changes or new product and production introductions
Recruitment, Talent Mobility & Visa Support
・Drive recruitment activities for permanent staff, temporary workers, interns, and international assignees
・Ensure efficient visa acquisition and renewal processes for foreign nationals
・Work closely with internal and external partners to prevent recruitment delays and onboarding challenges
Employee Engagement & Development
・Gather and analyze employee feedback and translate it into actionable HR initiatives to enhance engagement and retention
・Support managers and employees with development, performance feedback processes, and career mapping
・Plan and execute engagement programs that drive positive workplace culture
Labor Relations, Compliance & Health & Safety
・Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including employment standards and workplace safety
・Collaborate with health, safety, and environment teams to maintain safe working conditions
・Promote health checks, fitness-for-work programs, and work style improvements
HR Operations & Team Management
・Lead, develop, and support the HR team to ensure efficient HR operations
・Maintain accuracy and integrity of HR data and systems
・Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies in HR workflows
HR Strategy & External Relations
・Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with broader organizational goals
・Foster positive labor-management relations and represent the organization externally with relevant stakeholders
・Plan and manage campus recruitment and outreach programs

- Requirements
- ・Practical HR experience in areas such as plant HR, HR business partnering, or labor relations (years and specific field flexible)
・Basic knowledge of labor law with emphasis on compliance to labor standards
・Experience supporting visa application and renewal processes for foreign employees or related work
・Japanese: Conversational level or above (effective communication with site employees)
・English: Business level (report creation, internal documentation, global communication)

- ・Plant HR experience within a manufacturing context (especially automotive, electronics, or industrial parts)
・Experience working in a multinational or foreign-affiliated company
・Experience supporting onboarding and integration of interns, trainees, or international employees
・Experience in HR program planning (engagement initiatives, career development frameworks, performance evaluation systems)
・Ability to lead HR change initiatives, not just maintain processes
・Understands others' perspectives and takes ownership
・Proactive, solution-oriented, and takes initiative
・Builds trust with employees and management
