As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) specializing in quality assurance for chemical supply and fluid handling components for semiconductors, we will entrust you with the following tasks.

This position will be responsible for manufacturing management and project lead for suppliers in Japan and Korea, world-class quality control and SEMI compliance, and quality control and process control in the high-purity chemical supply systems provided by the company.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    1. Supplier Quality Assurance and Management

    - Reviewing and leading
    certification, performance management, and continuous improvement plans for suppliers in Japan and Korea - Conducting
    supplier audits, process assessments, and risk assessments based on industry standards such as SEMI, ISO9001, and IATF - Leading
    8D, SCAR, containment, and root cause analysis for quality defects - Parts, Technical Improvement Advice
    to Suppliers on Manufacturing Processes - Manufacturing process evaluation
    of the following components and processes: Mass Flow Controller (MFC) Valves
    , Pressure Regulators
    Tubes/Fittings
    O-Rings Elastomers
    Heaters, Sensors
    Ultra High Purity (UHP) Gas/Chemical Supply Assemblies
    - Drawings, Review
    of specifications, PFMEAs, control plans, and process capability data - Verify cleanliness and leak performance according to SEMI standards (F20, F57, F38, F104, etc.)

    2. Technical support and internal and external cooperation
    - Coordinate
    with our R&D, design, and production technology teams in the manufacturing of new products designated by the Company - Lead
    the supplier's manufacturing process improvement, equipment update, yield improvement, and contamination reduction as designated by the Company - Cooperate with the supplier and the Company's quality, procurement, and operations departments to ensure stable shipments

    3. Standards and Compliance
    – Ensuring
    that suppliers' manufacturing processes and materials comply with SEMI, UHP, and high-purity chemical supply standards - Promoting risk reduction activities, such as improving process capabilities that do not meet PCA, FMEA, and MSA standards
  • Requirements
    - At least 5 years of
    experience as a quality, production technology, or process engineer in the semiconductor industry or a component manufacturer for semiconductor manufacturing equipment - In-depth understanding
    of SEMI standards, cleanliness management, and contamination management - Fluent Japanese and business-level English proficiency
    - Able to travel to all parts of Japan and Korea (30% of business trips in Japan and overseas)
