The Associate Program Manager is responsible for planning and executing automotive audio system development programs while coordinating cross- functional and global teams. This role serves as the primary interface with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure programs meet quality, cost, and timing requirements. - Responsibilities
- Manage one or more automotive audio system programs (system, speaker, and/or amplifier), including global application and development activities.
Define program tasks, create work breakdown structures, and establish schedules in line with corporate development processes.
Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, cybersecurity, compliance, and sales functions.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal processes, and development standards.
Establish and manage program budgets, cost targets, and resource plans.
Drive timely decision-making, resolve program issues, and escalate when necessary with proposed solutions.
Act as the primary program interface with customers, including Japanese OEMs.
Coordinate prototype builds, production tooling, and key program milestones.
Track progress, audit task completion, and report major deviations to management.
Work independently and support less experienced team members as needed.

- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of professional experience, including experience working with global teams .
Experience in program management or related functions such as engineering, quality, or manufacturing.
Strong project planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Technical knowledge of automotive electronics and audio systems, including embedded software concepts.
Experience
Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English.

Master's degree in Engineering or MBA.
Background in automotive electronics or audio system development.
