This position focuses on structural design and analysis of propulsion systems for satellites, and is involved in a series of processes from fixture design, assembly, and testing. In the field of electric propulsion, where demand is growing worldwide, you can experience all phases of manufacturing, from conceptual product design to operation in space, while being directly involved in the development of cutting-edge technologies. By collaborating with experts in each field to guide optimal solutions to various technical issues such as weight reduction, heat, and assembly due to miniaturization, students can acquire a high level of expertise that allows them to have a bird's-eye view of the entire propulsion engine.
Job Description

- Responsibilities
- - Structural
design and structural analysis of propulsion engines for satellites - Design
of jigs necessary for propulsion development - Assembly
work of propulsion and performance and environmental tests - Extraction and improvement
of technical issues related to miniaturization, weight reduction, thermal design, assemblyability, etc. - Promotion
of product development in collaboration with engineers in other fields (electrical, control, propulsion, materials, etc.) - From design to testing, Technical verification and quality assurance in each phase of space operation

- Requirements
- - Experience
in designing precision machinery or precision parts - Practical experience
in design and analysis using 3D CAD - Experience in incorporating into 2D drawings and negotiating with fabricators

in environmental testing such as vibration and shock - Experience in working with vacuum environments (vacuum testing, handling of vacuum equipment, etc.)
