As Sales Manager, you will be tasked with driving business growth in the automotive sector by securing new opportunities and achieving specific customer booking targets. This role requires proactive engagement with customers early on, developing commercial strategies, and managing the RFI/RFQ process.

- Responsibilities
- Own and manage the response to RFI/RFQs, overseeing the quoting process and negotiating commercial terms with customers.
Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers, developing effective strategies to secure new business.
Drive early customer engagement activities, including “war gaming” and creating unique selling propositions.
Understand customer requirements, including cost, timing, and expectations, and define internal targets to meet them.
Engage with customers at management levels and build strong, ongoing relationships.
Execute customer-specific strategies based on mutual communication and collaboration.
Develop compelling value statements to differentiate offerings and win new business.

- Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
At least 8 years of relevant sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the automotive industry.
Basic knowledge of automotive engineering.
In-depth understanding of P&L statements, business cases, and contracts.
Strong negotiation skills and a proactive, independent approach to driving sales.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Strategic thinking and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
Ability to work remotely full-time with occasional trips to the office as needed.
