Koito Seisakusho to increase production capacity in Brazil and Mexico, investing 33 billion yen

Koito Manufacturing announced that it will expand its automotive illuminator production capacity in Mexico and Brazil to meet increasing demand in the Americas.

Total investment is approximately 33 billion yen. In Mexico, a new plant will be constructed with an investment of 20 billion yen and is scheduled to start operation in April 2026.

In Brazil, the existing plant will be expanded for 13 billion yen and production will start in August 2025. Production capacity in both countries will increase significantly, and sales are expected to roughly double from FY2023 levels. The impact of this investment on FY03/2025 earnings is expected to be negligible.
