As a Purchasing Manager, you will procure computer hardware from a variety of suppliers in the Japanese market to meet global customer requirements in the electronic components industry. You will provide real-time feedback and market intelligence to sales staff and product management teams through interaction with other global locations during the procurement process, while developing new vendors, building relationships with existing suppliers, and negotiating deals. To be successful in this role, you must have strong negotiation skills and be willing to work with the Account Executive team to drive value.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ■As a purchasing manager, you will procure computer hardware from various suppliers in the Japanese market.
    During the procurement process, you will also be entrusted with building long-term relationships for future transactions.
    -Sourcing products from potential new suppliers as well as maintaining relationships with existing suppliers
    -Negotiating with them for product sourcing, including pricing, terms, and shipping dates
    -Making sure that product quality standards are in place and reflect a deep commitment to quality parts
    -Own ERP system Collaborate with the sales team through the use of and keep detailed records to maintain a unique competitive advantage

  • Requirements
    -(Purchasing) 1-3 years of work experience in a business environment
    - Energetic, intelligent, up-and-coming professional with a desire to persevere until successful and revolutionize the industry
    - Familiar with OS tools (email, MS Office 365, etc.) generally required for the job
    - Relationship building Excellent ability to negotiate effectively
