The service is easy to use via a dedicated app and is attracting attention as a sustainable means of transportation.
We are developing a sustainable mobility service that reduces environmental impact and includes solving urban transportation issues as well as rural transportation issues.

You will be responsible for the design and implementation of the Android application. You will also participate in the development of the service in collaboration with the Product Management and Data Analysis departments, integrate the system through cooperation with the server-side and IoT teams, and sometimes be involved in the development of services and features from the analysis and planning stages.
This role will utilize your knowledge as a mobile app engineer and understanding of mobile platforms to develop services that will be used by many users.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Design and implementation of user application (Android)
    ・Collaboration with PdM and data analysis department
    ・Collaboration with server side and IoT team in addition to application development to connect the system
    ・Development of services and functions from the analysis and planning stage
    ・Development of operation application for internal use
    ・Development of application for internal use to streamline vehicle maintenance Development of applications for internal use to streamline tasks such as vehicle maintenance and placement at ports
    ・Development while listening to and understanding internal demands and issues
    ・Design〜implementation of user application (Android)
    ・Team lead (if you can leave it to us)
  • Requirements
    -3+ years of experience developing Android applications for in-house products at a business
    -Experience developing with Kotlin
    -Experience with Jetpack Compose
    -Fundamental project management skills
    -Engineering background and ability to think independently in technology selection and architecture selection

    * In addition to designing and implementing Android applications, the candidate must have a broad range of skills and knowledge to work with other departments within the organization and contribute to the overall success of the service.
  • Preferred
    Experience with Map Compose
    - Experience with iOS app development
    - Experience with Flutter app development
    - Experience with technical management as a Tech Lead
    - Experience with product operations with full Firebase backend

    - General understanding of the IoT device/hardware layer
    Degree in Computer Science
    ・Understanding of various communication methods and protocols such as TCP, BLE, MQTT, etc.
