We are in the phase of concurrently executing the launch of our own procurement function, introduction of the first model to the market, and enhancement of competitiveness/preparation for the development of next-generation models, and as procurement experts, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks from planning areas to buyers. You will be involved in a wide range of tasks from planning to buying as a procurement expert.

While you will first demonstrate your expertise in the procurement area, in the future, depending on your experience, you may be involved in the optimization of the entire supply chain, starting with procurement, or in conceptual studies.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Procurement of prototype parts (sensors, cameras, ECUs, semiconductors, batteries, displays, etc.)
    ・Procurement strategy planning considering QMS and CSR sustainability
    ・Procurement of development parts (sensors, cameras, ECUs, semiconductors, batteries, displays, etc.)
    ・Procurement of engineering resources (software development outsourcing)
    Software license area procurement (negotiation of license conditions, contract conclusion, etc.)
    ・Engineering resource procurement (software development outsourcing)
  • Requirements
    Procurement (prototype and development purchasing area) 3+ years experience
    - Knowledge of electrical, semiconductor, and mechanical component technologies and manufacturing processes
    - Ability to balance cost/performance/growth and negotiation skills
    - Experience in partner credit management and compliancy management
    - Experience in assessing outsourcing, including SW areas
  • Preferred
    Experience in procurement team or new business
    - Experience as an engineer or software developer
    - Knowledge of software licensing
    - Sales experience in electrical, semiconductor or other industries
    - Experience in mass production purchasing
