In this position, you will work as an engineer or project manager for the advanced development of driver assistance and automated driving systems (utilizing AI technology).

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Advanced development and design work for advanced driver assistance and automated driving systems.

    The company will develop functions and elemental technologies with a focus on AI.
    Advanced driver assistance and automated driving systems utilize AI.
    AI recognizes the situation inside and outside the vehicle based on the input of sensor information such as images and millimeter waves mounted around the vehicle and inside the cabin, and AI judges the situation based on these recognition results and calculates actions and trajectories.
    In the next generation, we will also consider the use of AI that integrates these technologies, as well as generative AI and basic models.
    In this role, you will be responsible for advanced development using these latest AI technologies, implementation in cutting-edge semiconductors, and implementation in the development infrastructure.

    *If you are initially assigned to Tokyo, you may be required to go on a long-term business trip to the head office (Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture) for a certain period of time immediately after joining the company. (From the perspective of networking and sharing work procedures)
    The specific period will be discussed based on the nature of the work and the individual's situation. (Several weeks to several months (up to 6 months at the most))
  • Requirements
    Knowledge and experience in any of the following:

    - Experience in technology development using artificial intelligence (AI)
    - Knowledge of mathematics/computer science/data science at a level that enables understanding of new AI technologies, etc.
    - Programming skills at a level that enables utilizing new libraries, etc. and implementing the latest algorithms
    - Automatic driving Development of advanced safety and driver assistance systems (or similar systems)
