An exciting opportunity has opened for a Resident ECU Hardware Engineer to join a world-class supplier of ePowertrain solutions. embedded within a major Japanese automotive OEM, serving as the key technical liaison between the customer and the company's global ECU hardware teams. Job Description

- Responsibilities
- As a Resident ECU Hardware Engineer, you will:.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between the OEM customer and the company's ECU Hardware teams.
- Manage customer requests and change requirements related to ECU hardware design and implementation.
- Oversee reporting, issue tracking, and timeline management to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide onsite support, including debugging, failure investigation, and minor hardware adaptations.
- Support validation activities such as test planning, negotiations, and reporting.
- Lead discussions on functional safety and hardware design considerations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Facilitate bi-directional communication between the customer and internal hardware design and testing teams.

- Requirements
- - Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years in automotive product development, specifically ECU hardware or power electronics. specifically ECU hardware or power electronics.
Technical Knowledge:
-Automotive SPICE (A-SPICE) and ISO 26262 Functional Safety.
- Cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155/156).
- ECU hardware design, validation, and testing.
Soft Skills:
- Languages: Business-level Japanese (fluent reading, writing, speaking) and English ( intermediate to advanced preferred).
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
- Ability to work in an international environment and collaborate with global teams.
