This is a senior sales manager position with a global leader in space debris removal and on-orbit services, expanding partnerships with a diverse range of customers, including the Japanese government and industry, to pioneer the space industry of the future.
The Senior Sales Manager will play a key role in leading activities to generate contract opportunities and orders with the Japanese government and corporate clients, as well as building relationships of trust with customers and partners. You will drive all sales activities from communication strategy development to proposal development and engagement with business leads.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ∙ Conduct activities to generate contracts and opportunities with the Japanese government and target customers, and to obtain contract awards.

  • Requirements
    Experience in solution sales or business development in the space industry (approx. 5+ years).

    - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills, including technical and non-technical audiences.

    ∙ Self-motivated, proactive, and self-motivated.
    ∙ Native Japanese language proficiency or equivalent of JLPT N1.
