As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling spare parts, services, and project solutions to maritime customers, while serving as the main point of contact for assigned accounts. This includes managing quotations and orders, coordinating deliveries, maintaining strong customer relationships, and collecting market intelligence. Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities in CRM tools, including quotation and order status, customer visit reports, dry dock schedules, and sales leads
    - Proactively follow up on all quotations and order progress to ensure timely responses and conversions
    - Research and report on customers' installed base and upcoming dry dock plans to identify sales opportunities
    - Collaborate with the local controller to support the collection of outstanding account receivables
    - Review customer purchase orders for accuracy and alignment with corresponding quotations
    - Manage sales order confirmations, ensuring timely processing and clear communication with customers
    - Prioritize and process local sales orders based on urgency and business needs
    - Oversee the delivery process and ensure all related documentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Requirements
    - Diploma/Bachelor's degree in engineering, marine or business
    - 3-5 years in sales experience in Marine, Offshore or other relevant field
    - Ability to read technical drawings; knowledge of large-scale machinery and equipment
    - Fluent Japanese with Business English

    - Experience with hydraulic and electrical control systems
