You will be in charge of formulating and negotiating global strategies to ensure stable procurement of steel materials at optimal prices. The main tasks are regular negotiations with metal material manufacturers and stable supply to each plant.
As a global organization, there are points of contact with team members in Japan and overseas, and information sharing/strategy formulation is conducted.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Find new suppliers
    - Manage and evaluate existing suppliers
    - Develop and execute global procurement strategies
    - Drive cost reductions by sourcing new parts/materials and changing suppliers
    - Negotiate and close new contracts and annual contract revisions
    - Negotiate internal → internal supplier requirements or supplier → internal requests based on support requests Negotiation and coordination of internal to supplier requirements or supplier to internal requirements based on support requests
    ・Communicate closely with suppliers and the company in these activities and participate in resolving problems, issues, and concerns
  • Requirements
    Good communication and interpersonal skills
    ・Non-refusal to speak English

    -English proficiency (TOEIC score around 500, dealing with overseas suppliers)
