-Control of global procurement department and planning and execution of procurement strategy (including regular and irregular interactions with overseas procurement managers and procurement departments)
-Planning and execution for transition period/independence from Panasonic Group in overall procurement operations
-Building relationships of trust with suppliers, key supplier management executives and PAS management executives Strengthening relationships with key suppliers and PAS executives

- Proactively build a new procurement organization by utilizing your experience and abilities to address unprecedented initiatives and issues
- Grasp the status of multiple divisions in global procurement, identify company-wide issues and lead on high-priority initiatives.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Negotiate with the Group on contracts, purchasing, strategic planning, and supplier management for transition period/independence from the Group, and promote and execute each item
    ・Coordinate and study with PAS departments for transition period/independence, and lead global procurement department to improve profitability
    ・Manage KPI indicators and develop and implement measures to achieve KPIs
    Execution of various meetings and technical exhibitions/exchange meetings to strengthen relationships with suppliers
    ・Development and management of human resources in own department as the person in charge of organization
  • Requirements
    Industry experience: experience in either the automotive or electronics industry, including procurement/sales
    ・Procurement experience: experience in procurement of semiconductors and electronic components
    ・Technical knowledge: presentation skills, logic assembly skills, and the ability to understand what procurement TOP management is thinking
    ・Strategic perspective: formulate and implement long-term procurement strategies, build and optimize global procurement networks ・Stakeholder management: ability to maintain and coordinate good relationships with internal and external stakeholders Strategic Perspective: Develop and implement long-term procurement strategies, build and optimize a global procurement network
