Job Description

  • Responsibilities

It is not just a "person in charge of obtaining quotations and ordering", but a purchasing leader position with a strong consulting color, responsible for designing purchasing strategies, building a competitive environment, negotiations, and governance.

This position is for a Segment Leader in Indirect Purchasing, responsible for overseeing indirect purchasing activities across each sites in Kanagawa Prefecture, including the headquarters, factories, and R&D facilities. Unlike direct purchasing, which directly affects product costs, indirect purchasing focuses on optimizing areas essential for smooth company operations, such as temporary staffing, IT, equipment, and event management.
