Top Global Sales | The company, a foreign automotive parts manufacturer, is expanding its software and electronics products. A German company with long-standing roots in Japan and doing business around the world, it has a diverse workforce and a working environment with a turnover rate of 1%. 2024 April, a new R&D facility will be completed and the company is working to develop even more advanced technologies.
This is a senior expert position to lead the business expansion and implementation of Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) solutions in the Japanese market, and to drive technology proposals and business development for JOEM with expertise in development processes, tools, and DevOps.
Job Description

- Responsibilities
- Stay abreast of the latest SDV trends and market developments to develop and execute new business opportunities and market strategies
Drive the adoption of new development methodologies and frameworks for JOEMs
Provide expertise in development processes, methodologies, tools (PMT), DevOps and infrastructure-related solutions
Provide technical to projects Provide consulting and virtualization support
Actively participate in customer proposals and technical discussions
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including engineers, product managers, and executives
Support in all processes of SDV solutions including business development, pre-sales, and post implementation support
Serve as a bridge to global expert network and Acting as a bridge to build and maintain a collaborative structure

- Requirements
- Strong understanding of software development processes and virtualization concepts.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify priorities and make decisions quickly and accurately in a highly uncertain environment.
Excellent communication and consulting skills. Experience negotiating with Japanese automaker (JOEMs) customers and global stakeholders.
Able to work in cross-functional teams with diverse cultural backgrounds and be a bridge between the Japanese and global communities.
Experience in networking across regions and central divisions, and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders to drive projects forward without formal authority.
A strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and business growth.
Proficiency in Japanese and English at a business level.
