This position is responsible for logistics and production management operations related to the entire lifecycle of products and parts, from production planning and inventory control to order receipt and shipment, procurement, export, quality and cost control, and SAP system operation.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Production planning and inventory control... Planning production of products and parts, proper management of product and parts inventory, new start-up, change and termination management
    - Order, shipping and transportation management... Management of customer delivery dates, coordination with depots and carriers, and a series of logistics operations from order receipt to delivery.
    - External coordination and material procurement... Procurement and delivery management of parts from suppliers, liaison with external vendors such as transporters and depots, and order management
    ・Export management... Management operations related to overseas exports
    ・Quality and cost control... Promote cost reduction activities, improve operational efficiency and quality
    ・Systems & Data Management.... . Registration and maintenance of SAP master data, confirmation of sales plans, review and improvement of production management system
  • Requirements
    -Logistics expertise... Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in supply chain management, logistics concept development, and inventory management strategies.
    -Native level Japanese
    -Business level English
    -Experience negotiating and communicating with overseas members.
  • Preferred
    -Leadership experience in logistics site improvement
    -Leadership experience in production management or manufacturing, purchasing, or operations reform
    -Leadership experience in planning, design, and improvement at a packaging company or manufacturer
